The color, shape and coating of your tongue can provide significant

Here are some of the things they will look for:
Color
Pale - may be a sign of excess cold
Red - excess heat
Purple - stagnant energy
Shape
Swollen & Puffy -
Spleen energy deficiency
Thin - blood or fluid deficiency
Trembling - Spleen energy deficiency
Elongated - Heart heat
Sides curled up - Liver energy stagnation
Location
The location (see diagram) of a specific characteristic can indicate
potential medical problems with an organ.
