Tanya Manikkam ND
Dr. Tanya has been interested in holistic medicine from an early age. After graduating with a degree in psychology from the University of Ottawa in 2004, she studied biology at the University of Toronto. In 2009, she successfully completed her full-time 4 year medical degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. As part of her program, Tanya completed an internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic and spent four months at the Sherbourne Health Centre in downtown Toronto where she gave free naturopathic care to low-income HIV positive individuals.
Tanya uses clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, physical medicine, acupuncture, homeopathy and lifestyle counseling in order to help her patients achieve an optimal state of health. She now practices in Ottawa, ON.
Dr. Tanya Manikkam is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and is registered with the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy-Naturopathy (BDDT-N). She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
